We build sensor-triggered wearable protection for people on the road who have the least around them — starting with cyclists, extending to every vulnerable road user.
Every year, people on bikes, scooters, and motorcycles absorb the cost of sharing the road with vehicles built to protect only what's inside them. The usual answer has been to armor the rider — heavier, hotter, more visible. We think the better answer is a system that stays out of the way until the exact moment it's needed.
AirProtect Labs designs wearable airbag systems built around motion-sensing algorithms that recognize the difference between a hard brake and a real fall, and respond in the milliseconds that matter. We're starting with cyclists, where the data and the need are clearest, and building toward a platform that protects any vulnerable road user in motion.
We're an early-stage team based in France, working with safety engineers and manufacturing partners across Europe.
